A Not-Really Haiku


I need LOTS of opinions here.

My upstairs ARMY boyz make a LOT of noize.

Jumping up and down on the hardwood floor.

They jump like that when they are watching sports.

I don't like having to ask them to jump less.

But tonight, it was like they were going to shatter my ceiling fan, or worse.

They have a thin rug, but it doesn't help.

I plan to get a carpet pad and carpet for them.

I thought about asking them to move the jumping to the basement.

I don't want to be unreasonable - they are 20-year-olds, after all.

I just want to stop the ceiling shaking and thunderous sounds from above.


Please help.
