is there anybody in there?

hello, all.

after a brief early-summer hiatus and a short stint elsewhere online, i have decided to return to the lovely land of blogger.com. i don't have much to say right now, but i do think i'll be sharing more nostalgic stories than i did previously and we'll just see where it goes.

in the interim, if you want to catch up on what i've been up to and what i'm planning next, here's the short list:

*i move back to norwood in 6 short weeks. i'm so excited about this that i've actually started packing already and am planning to stash stuff in the basement between now and then so the actual moving will me minimal on moving day.
*the new group of students who moved in are awesome! they cleaned up the side porch and they are actually excited that i am moving back. :-)
*i'm planning to set up a studio in my basement so i can work on a LOT of projects at once. more details to follow.
*i've been playing volleyball on tuesday nights. this is a lot of fun for me. i love volleyball; everything about it. the sand, the breeze, the sweat. i love the rhythm of the game and the fact that there's no contact with the other team.
*my job that i love has gotten progressively busier and busier, and as a result, i find myself slacking off more and more. i'm not sure what that says about me other than that i'm not really cut out for the "world of work". thus, the updates today. :-)

i have a lot more to update, but i'm going to take it slow for now. thanks for stopping by!
