Actually, all of me is tired, because we did a TON of work this weekend. But check out the results at Heidi's Blog.
Once again, mad props to Kelly for helping direct the faucet installation, Adam for completely ROCKING out on the cabinet installation (this guy is a genius!) and of course, Heidi, for sticking it out with no kitchen for all this time and helping all along the way. It is really satisfying to see the results now that we're in the "you-can-actually-see-the-work-that's-getting-done" phase. I'm hoping to have the floor tiled in the next 6 days. The holiday break should really help with getting that done.

ReplyDeleteI wound up gutting my bathroom last weekend...no pics, don't ask me why, I think the smell of mold destroyed a bunch of brain cells...so I'll be tiling away this holiday season too.
ReplyDeleteAs for that IKEA lazy susan, you're idea totally made sense. But the truth is, until you posted that comment, I totally forgot about it lol. I stuck the fondue pot and some other random things I never use in there so I almost never open it. Plus, the damage you can see in that pic is as bad as it's gotten, and unless you're looking for it, chances are no one's gonna notice it.
Hope your arms feel better. I pretty much wrecked my whole body doing my kitchen just b/c I'm an ass who likes to say I did it myself. yeesh. Happy Thanksgiving.
