this is how the kitchen wall looks now after tuesday's labor. i stopped after i filled 2 cans with debris and my 2 lungs with 100 years' worth of black soot. mmm. even with a mask, i was still sneezing soot all night. i also have to cut the lath where i don't want to tear the plaster down b/c the lath spans several studs and the lath pieces are also staggered. so, it's a bit more involved than i expected, but then again, most projects are.
last night, i helped heidi prep for her painting, which she is just about to post on her blog. i think tonite will be mostly mid-demo cleanup for me, but i'll try to do something post-worthy.
