Great Things on the Internet

I've found a couple of new things online. I guess, no matter how much of the Internet I read, they keep putting new things on it. Which is good, because every so often I get to the end and I have to wait for something new to happen.

First up, this is a great way to spend some time playing with pics of people you love (or not, depending on your political persuasion): OBAMiconMe

Make your own, or just enjoy those created by others. I made this pic of my nephew. It's hard to make out his face but I know the image well enough that this makes me happy.

Thing 2: in searching for more examples of Shepard Fairey's street art, but erroneously typing in "Spencer Fairey," I came across this image in the flickr pool. It's pretty much one of the funniest real-life things I've seen.

even mannequins have thong trouble

I think this is a huge reason I love the Internet; you end up with delightful unrelated things while looking for other things. It's a lot like my house, actually, so maybe that's why I like it.

  1. I too have played with the OBAMA sign maker. It is TOO cute.

And that thong mannequin (SP!) is AMAZING. What a great sense of humor someone has out there...

Thanks for sharing. It was GREAT to see you Friday night! Hopefully I'll see you tonight too!
